each piece is made by hand, so please allow for variation within the material and from piece to piece. this piece is sturdy enough, but should be treated with care. The vessel is glazed and will hold water, though due to the cratered finish both on the outside and the inside, this piece is not food safe and should be used as a flower vase, or for decoration only.
